Stacey Cartee

I hold a master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling and bring 30 years of experience to my practice as a counselor and am currently awaiting confirmation of my Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA). My expertise lies in assessing and treating individuals who struggle with problematic sexual behaviors, working with children, teenagers, and adults.

My therapeutic approaches are grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, techniques that I have found incredibly effective in helping clients heal and grow. I believe that everyone has a unique story, and I deeply value each of these stories. I believe that understanding these details is crucial for healing and overcoming life’s challenges.

It's important for you to know that my availability is limited, but I am committed to providing the best care during the times I am available on evenings and weekends; however, if you can’t schedule a time with me, Mares Cares has an amazing staff of providers that can also help you on your journey toward wellness.

Outside of my professional life, I am an avid animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. I also enjoy yoga, spending time outdoors, practicing daily gratitude, and cherishing moments with my family and friends.

If you're looking for a counselor who will respect and honor your story, I am here for you. Let’s work together towards a path of healing and resilience.
